Mike McCannMike McCann, the firm’s senior partner, grew up in Brookings. He earned his juris doctor from the University of South Dakota (USD) and joined his father at the firm in 1972. Mike’s general practice concentrations include contracts, estate planning, probates, real estate, criminal law, family law and public school law. Mike also belongs to several service organizations, including Boy Scouts of America, Shriners and the Optimist Club. He lives in Brookings with his wife, Judy. They enjoy spending time with their four children and seven grandchildren. |

Rick RibsteinRick Ribstein grew up in Brookings. He received his juris doctor from the University of South Dakota (USD) in 1989 and worked as a law clerk until he joined the firm in 1991. He has served on the Board of Governors for the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and as a commissioner for the South Dakota State Bar. Rick's general practice includes Personal Injury Litigation, Worker's Compensation, Social Security Disability, criminal law, family law and divorce, civil law, business law, estate planning and probate. Rick currently serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club. Rick and his wife, Beth, have a son and daughter. |

Don McCartyDon McCarty is a native of Wakonda, SD and received his juris doctor from the University of South Dakota (USD) in 1996. He joined the firm shortly after graduation and became a partner in 2001. Don’s general practice includes criminal law, family law and divorce, personal injury, worker’s compensation, business law and Social Security Disability. Don serves as a member of the South Dakota Army National Guard. He and his wife, Ann, have a daughter and son. |

Tim HoganTim Hogan is a Brookings native and earned his juris doctor from St. Louis University in 1993. Following a year as a public defender in Missouri, he returned to Brookings to open his own firm. He joined McCann & Ribstein in 1999. Tim’s general practice includes real estate, business planning, criminal law, family law and divorce, bankruptcy and estate planning. Tim and his wife, Kate, keep very busy raising their five children. |

Jennifer GoldammerJennifer Goldammer grew up in Armour, SD. She recieved her undergraduate degree at Augustana College prior to attending law school at the University of South Dakota (USD). Jennifer earned her juris doctor from USD in 2009. After graduating from law school, Jennifer clerked for the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Rapid City from 2009 to 2010. Jennifer's general practice areas include criminal law and family law. Jennifer and her husband, Chad, have one daughter.
